Music Undergraduate Student Association

The Music Undergraduate Students’ Association (MUSA), or the Music undergraduate Society, consists of students from all years at the UBC School of Music. MUSA's primary goal is to fundraise money for events to increase and promote a healthy social life for students in addition to their academic and musical duties.

Positions include Grade Representatives, AMS Representative, Secretary, VP Finance, Vice President External, Vice President Internal, and President. There are also Members at Large (MALs) and volunteers whom consistently come to help out at the events. MUSA works closely with the office staff, making certain that information does get passed off to other students when need be, and is involved with a number of internal items, such as the lockers, locks, and MUSA fees. BBQs are done at the beginning (Welcome Back, Exposition BBQ – KNORG) at a very low cost, and at the end (GRONK with complimentary beer and burgers) for celebration!

Currently, MUSA has scheduled weekly meetings, bi-monthly bake sales, themed events for Halloween, Christmas, Valentines and Easter, as well as our annual Music Winter Formal.
