Tickets and Subscription Packages

Single Tickets

2011-2012 Season single tickets are on sale as of September 19, 2011. Single tickets for performances at the Chan Centre can be purchased directly through the Chan Centre (in-person) or Ticketmaster at 1-855-985-ARTS or online at www.ticketmaster.ca. All other single tickets, are available exclusively through UBC Opera by telephone (604.822.6725), online, or in person at the Old Auditorium Box Office.

CONDITIONS
Tickets are subject to our privacy policy and conditions of purchase. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. For opera events in the Old Auditorium and Botanical Gardens, ticket exchanges are at least 36 hours prior to opening performance of event, must be for the same monetary value and subject to availability. Ticket exchanges may be subject to a per ticket service charge. Delivery charges may apply. For performances in the Chan Centre (excluding the Opera Ball) Ticketmaster service charges may apply. Ticketmaster tickets are not exchangeable. Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions give you priority access, the best availability and connect you directly with the students on stage.

Subscription packages include a single ticket to selected performances of The Crucible (November 10-13 | 2011), Rusalka (February 9-12 | 2012), and The Merry Widow (June 21-24 | 2012). Subscriber benefits include discounted rates on our Opera Tea Series. A subscription to the Opera Tea Series is also available. Prices are inclusive of tax and booking fees. Subscriptions are available exclusively through UBC Opera by telephone (604.822.6725), or in person at the Old Auditorium Box Office. Subscriptions are not available online.
 
Please note that if you are a new subscriber, your subscription and seat selection will not be processed until after the seat renewal deadline (August 1st) for current subscribers. Tickets are mailed at the end of September 2011. All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

EXCHANGES FOR SUBSCRIBERS
For UBC Opera events at the Old Auditorium and at the UBC Botanical Garden, ticket exchanges are free. Please make your exchange requests early. For UBC Opera events at the Chan Centre and exclusively for subscribers, Ticketmaster tickets are exchangeable in-person at the Chan Centre Box Office. Ticketmaster ticket exchanges are at least 36 hours prior to opening performance of event must be for the same monetary value, are subject to availability, and may be subject to a per ticket service charge.

Please note that subscription exchanges for individual performance dates are only permitted after the Single Ticket on-sale date in September 2011. Check back to our website for on-sale date announcements.

Renewals

If you are a renewing subscriber you can now keep your seats from the previous season! In order to keep your seats you must renew your subscription before the seat renewal deadline of August 1st 2011. Seating request changes will be accommodated whenever possible and will be processed in order of receipt. Please be aware if your request a seat change we cannot guarantee your 2010-2011 Season seats.

Group Tickets

Bring your group for a memorable and affordable opera experience. Group rates are available for groups of 10+. Discounted school group rates are also available. Please contact UBC Opera by phone at 604.822.6725 or email info@ubcopera.com for more information. Groups tickets are not available online.
