LATEST NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR EARLY MUSIC ENSEMBLE STUDENTS (updated 28 November 2011):
- If you are planning to register for Early Music Ensemble, please do so as early as possible. For the 2011-2012 academic year the official course meeting times for Early Music Ensemble are Mondays and Wednesdays from 1:00 to 3:00. If you wish to register in the course you should ensure that you have these times available in your schedule; the registration system will not allow conflicting course registrations. Alternative rehearsal times may be scheduled at the instructors' discretion.
- We encourage students to register for the course early; however, final admission to Early Music Ensemble is by audition. Auditions for the 2011-2012 academic year will be held during the first week of September. Sign-up sheets will be available on the main floor of the Music Building. Registration in the course will be limited and will depend on the student's performance area and the needs of the ensemble. If you have been in the ensemble in previous year(s) you need not audition, but please inform the instructor in advance that you would like to continue in the ensemble (admission cannot be guaranteed, however).
