Explore UBC Music!

Shape the future.  Make a world of difference.  Discover your potential.  Delve into an atmosphere that is musically innovative.

You are invited to attend the UBC School of Music Open House, which is being held on Friday, November 9, 2012. Our Music Open House provides an opportunity for visitors to meet faculty and staff, interact with current students, attend interesting concerts, classes and presentations, and also tour our comprehensive facilities and performing venues -- including the Music Building and Roy Barnett Recital Hall; the gorgeous Chan Centre for the Performing Arts; and the recently renovated Old Auditorium, a modern music theatre that is home-base for the UBC Opera Ensemble.

Music as a career is one of discovery, creativity, collaboration, imagination, innovation and contribution. Don’t take our word for it – check it out for yourself!

REGISTER HERE FOR OUR 2012 MUSIC OPEN HOUSE

You are welcome to attend for the entire day, or for a portion of the day.

Interested students in any grade level are welcome to attend. Remember, even if not majoring in music, all UBC students are invited to audition for our ensembles each September. All students who are considering applying to UBC, for study in any field, may be interested in attending the School of Music Open House to learn more about the ways they can be involved with music at UBC.
