Tuition & Fees
- Tuition fees include private lessons (as provided by the student's program) without extra charge.
- Tuition fees are paid in three (3) instalments per year: September, January and May. Continuous registration is required for the duration of one's graduate program, including the summer term.
- Estimated yearly cost of living for full-time UBC graduate students.
Master's level
1. Canadian Citizens & Permanent Residents
2. International Students
Tuition Fees = $4440.70 per year for 2012-2013.
During 2012-2013, financial assistance is available to all full-time registered international Master's students (as long as they are not a recipient of external scholarships or external funding that pays their tuition) in the form of an International Tuition Award (ITA). These awards are for up to $3,200 per year, bringing tuition down close to the rate of domestic tuition. Thus scholarship holders will pay a total of $4440.70 ($7,640.70 - $3,200.00) per year for tuition. We expect that these awards will again be available for 2013-2014. Please note that these amounts, which are based on information from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, may be subject to change.
