Jim Littleford is a very active freelance musician in Vancouver. He has played trumpet with the Vancouver Opera Orchestra since 1981 as well as extra trumpet with the Vancouver Symphony and the C.B.C. Vancouver Orchestra. In chamber music Jim plays with A Touch Of Brass quintet and the Kwantlen College brass quintet.  Mr. Littleford has played with touring organizations such as the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, the National Ballet, Kirov Ballet as well as for productions of Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables and Showboat.

Mr. Littleford has a B.Mus. from U.B.C. and attended graduate school at the University of Southern California.  As an educator, Jim is in demand as a clinician and trumpet instructor and serves on faculty at U.B.C..  He is Founder / Music Director of the Little Mountain Brass Band, Music Director of the Summer Pops Youth Orchestra and past conductor of the Delta Concert Band.   In addition to performing and teaching, Mr. Littleford runs a successful music preparation business.
